Bio

I’d like to welcome you to my blog.  It’s a blessing to have you here!

I currently am the Senior Pastor at New Life Ministries in Vidalia, Ga. This includes New Life Church, God’s Storehouse (Food and Clothing Ministry), “The Jesus Inn” (Homeless/Recovery Center), and “The Living Word” Bible School.  I am a Pastor/Teacher.  I’m also a Chaplain at Montgomery State Prison, which is part of the Georgia Department of Corrections.

I hold a Dmin, MDiv, and a MTh from Christian Life School of Theology in Columbus, Ga.  I retired from the US Navy as an ETCM/SS, after spending 20 years on nuclear submarines.

I encourage your comments and/or feedback to my blog.  I will try to answer as many of your comments as I can in a timely manner. I pray that God’s blessings would be upon you.

  1. Pastor Rusty, God has given you the keys of the Kingdom to unlock the chains that bind others. I am so blessed to know you! Your daily Living Word is T-Bone steak to my soul. God told Peter. If you love me Feed My Sheep! You certainly got that message loud and clear and put it into practice! I feel the love!

    1. Rob, thanks for all the kind comments. I’m looking forward to seeing you this coming weekend at the Wilderness Refuge!!!

  2. Rusty, thanks for all your service in the Navy and the ministry, and Thanks for the follow.

    1. you’re welcome Jason. I pray that you have a blessed day and stay in touch. For years I did devotionals every day, but now I put them out about once a week. Feel free to scan them and receive from the Lord as you read them. Most of them came to me early in the morning as I sat drinking a cup of coffee.
